1. Overview & Architecture

  • Double-Entry Accuracy: Continuous real-time reconciliation of Expected Rent, Collected Revenue, Expenses, and Net Operating Income.

2. Primary Navigation (4 Core Tabs)

  • Tab 1 (Month View): Expected, Received, Pending, Total Expenses, and In-Hand Net Profit cards. Features 12-month selector strip and 1-tap payment toggles (Blue ONLINE, Green CASH, Orange PENDING).
  • Fixed Expected Rent Rule: Expected rent remains permanently locked to base agreed rent. Logging excess or split payments records actual collections accurately without inflating expected rent baseline.
  • Tab 2 (Tenants Directory): Active tenants pinned at top; vacated tenants sorted to bottom. Secure dual-sided Aadhaar ID vault, rental agreements, and "Start Tracking Rent In App From" historical isolation.

Net Profit (In-Hand) = Total Rent Received - Total Operational Expenses

BaseRent ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our native Android application and website handle your data.

1. Offline-First Data Storage

BaseRent operates primarily as an offline application. All tenant profiles, phone numbers, payment records, and property expenses are stored strictly on your local device inside an isolated Room SQLite database. We do not sell, rent, or harvest your personal records.

2. Cloud Backup & Authentication (Optional)

If you choose to use our optional Google Cloud Sync, your database is encrypted client-side using military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption before transmission to secure Google Firebase Firestore instances.

3. Device Permissions

BaseRent requests only standard utility permissions: notification permissions for rent due alerts, storage permissions for exporting PDF receipts and spreadsheets, and internet access for optional cloud sync and license verification. BaseRent never reads, collects, or shares your personal messages, contact lists, photos, or private files.

2. Acceptable Use

BaseRent is designed for residential landlords and commercial property managers. You agree not to decompile, reverse-engineer, resell, or distribute pirated copies of the software.

3. Limitation of Liability

BaseRent provides automated calculation utilities for convenience. Users remain solely responsible for tax filings, local tenancy compliance, and financial records verification.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Instant Digital Software Delivery

BaseRent Pro is an instantly delivered digital software product. Upon successful payment via Razorpay, software license activation and direct APK download access are provisioned immediately.

2. Refund Window

If you experience any verified technical defect that prevents the app from running on your supported Android device (Android 8.0 or newer) and our support team cannot resolve it within 7 business days, you are eligible for a 100% full refund within 14 days of purchase.
